Upcoming Projects
AZÈN
Azèn is an upcoming mythological horror film written and produced by Jasper Aziegbemhin. Inspired by true accounts of witchcraft and supernatural phenomena within Edo culture, the film ventures into the darker intersections of spirituality, family, religion, folklore, and ancestry.
Following in the footsteps of Golden Mhinutes Pictures’ debut big-screen title “IDIA”, Azèn seeks to build a distinctly indigenous horror mythology while delivering a commercially compelling cinematic experience rooted in Edo traditions and belief systems.
SWEET GIRL
Sweet Girl is a 2027 gritty neo-noir drama series from the stables of Golden Mhinutes Pictures. A serial sequel to the company’s acclaimed 2022 short drama of the same title, the series expands the original story into a darker, more expansive world.
Set against the realities of prostitution and human trafficking in Edo State and Europe, Sweet Girl explores the complex networks, personal consequences, power structures, and human stories surrounding the industry. With heightened drama, morally complex characters, and more ambitious sequences, the series aims to present a raw and authentic African crime drama with international resonance.
