About the Company
Golden Mhinutes Pictures
Golden Mhinutes Pictures is a Nigerian film and television company founded by filmmaker and executive producer Jasper Aziegbemhin at just 20, while he was in doctorate school. Built on a conviction that African stories deserve scale, specificity and global resonance, the company has evolved from bold independent shorts into one of a new generation of ambitious Nigerian production houses.
From Tide, which established Aziegbemhin as one of Nollywood’s youngest executive producers at 21, to the internationally acclaimed Prey and the gritty, culturally incisive Sweet Girl, Golden Mhinutes has consistently pursued stories that challenge, provoke and endure.
Its landmark feature IDIA brought that vision to the big screen—a culturally significant Edo horror film that became the highest-grossing Nollywood horror release of 2025.
Golden Mhinutes Pictures exists to redefine storytelling: creating fearless, culturally rooted cinema with the ambition to travel far beyond its borders.
